When the Trabant 601 was launched in 1963, it was a modern vehicle. In several decades, only slight adjustments were implemented. The formerly modern technology became increasingly obsolete and the Trabi’s reputation deteriorated. But that didn’t have a negative impact on the sales figures since there were hardly any alternatives. The forwarding company Wormser from Herzogenaurach has secured an example with hatchback, sporting the company design. It is used for promotional purposes.
