The G series is the classic Mercedes-Benz SUV and has been manufactured since 1979. Until today, the vehicle’s basic structure has remained almost unchanged, but over the years, several technical modifications were done. Furthermore, the interior of the vehicle, which was produced over 170.000 times, was also modified. The G series is manufactured in cooperation with Puch from Austria which is why the SUV is also called Puch G in the countries Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia/Herzegovina, Great Britain and in parts of Africa. In all other countries it is called Mercedes G. Herpa has decided to release the vehicle again with improved imprints. The closed model will be sold in blazing red and gray-blue metallic. .
