USAF Boeing B-52G Stratofortress, 416th Bombardment Wing Griffiss AFB "SAC Time"

Originally part of the 416th Bombardment Wing based at Griffiss Air Force Base in New York State, this B-52G was transferred to the 1708th Provisional Bomb Wing, operating out of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia as part of Operation Desert Storm in 1991. A small palm tree was added next to the mission markings on the left side after “SAC Time” blew up a palm tree during one run over Iraq.
