Northwest Orient Airlines Douglas DC-6B

After WWII, Northwest Airways shifted its efforts to flights to and also within East Asia. The airline, then named Northwest Orient, established a fi rst foreign hub in Tokyo. From 1954, numerous DC-6s were operated across the Pacific.
