Lufthansa McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30

Herpa produced a limited to 1,200 items DC-10-30 model, registered D-ADAO. It is the first DC-10 model with Lufthansa’s commonly called “fried-egg design“. In November 1973, the original was delivered to the German airline and was operated there from 14 January 1974 on until it was sold to the American Sun Country Airlines in 1995.
