Tarom Ilyushin IL-62M

The Romanian airline received its first of five IL-62 long-range jet airliners in 1973, the last IL-62M being retired in 1999. With next to 60 aircraft in operation in the late 1970s, TAROM at the time had the largest fleet in the Eastern Block of countries, after Aeroflot.
