To take economical advantage of the financial weakness of the Italian Alitalia, Lufthansa established its own subsidiary in Italy in 2009. Lufthansa Italia has its headquarters in Milan, the airplanes have own registrations and the according liveries. This airplane model was exclusively produced for Lufthansa – it was one of the first aircraft assigned for the Italian mission which is why it still features the German registration D-AKNJ. After a blocking period has expired, we are now also able to offer this 1/200 scale collector’s item.
