The Mannheimer Maimarkt (May market) has been for many years the front-runner amongst the German regional exhibitions - with more than 400,000 visitors, approx. 1,500 exhibitors and over 77.000 square meters leased net exhibition space. By the way, the May market has a long tradition. The market was allegedly already held in the year 1614, back then with livestock and herbs. Today, the consumer fair serves all branches from cattle-breeding to prefabricated houses. Every year, the Mercedes-Benz subsidiary Mannheim-Heidelberg also participates, and they always offer a special Herpa model on this occassion.
