The abbreviation PE stands for Peters Ennepetal. The owner-operated family company has been offering a comprehensive self-developed utility vehicle spare parts program since 1947. PE Automotive has also been actively sponsoring the Belgian truck racing teams of BJP Racing since 2008. This resulted in a close cooperation giving PE the possibility to test own products under the extreme circumstances of this high-performance sport. During the race season 2011, BJP racing and PE celebrated a premiere: For the first time, a vehicle based on a Renault Premium with 1250 HP was raced. A partial edition of PE’s exclusive model is now also available from the Herpa trademark shop.
