For the first time, a model of the new flag carrier of Uganda is released in the 1/500 scale. Founded only recently in 2019, Uganda Airlines operated a fleet of just four regional jets. For the new long distance flights to Europe, the Middle East and Asia, the airline had ordered two Airbus A330-800s, and is one of only a handful of customers for the short variant of the A330neo.
