The first R5, which also served as the original for this new H0 model, was manufactured from 1972 until 1984. Originally, it was designed as addition to the R4 and a more modern and cheaper to produce alternative to the R6. But the R5 became a sales success in the 1970s. The 1/87 Herpa model will be released in silver-metallic. Many printed details and chromium-plated decoration were also part of the 1970s classic.. Item was produced in different colors. Delivered color might deviate from the photo.
