The company, founded in 1956 by Josef Tatschl as a one-man-operation, has over four decades developed to become a renowned forwarding company. The company began fuel transports for today’s OMV as early as 1958. In 1972, the forwarder became the preferred company for the Knauf group to transport products for interior work. Since July 1, 2000, Tatschl also has been operating special trucks as motor carrier. Due to the establishment and expansion of the new car distribution center in Graz, it was only consequent to also get into that transport segment as well. In next to no time it was accomplished to be working for almost all West-European car manufacturers. Today, 265 employees with 181 trucks work in the company group. This model is a Herpa premiere for the new Lohr motor carrier. It replaces the in 1980 launched first motor carrier model in the H0 segment.
