Founded in 1969 by Gerlinde and Rudolf Kühn, Gerlinde Kühn Spedition is based in Westbevern-Vadrup and was initially in the tipper business (including winter road clearance). After a few years, the fleet was completely converted to tarpaulin vehicles. At the beginning of the 90s, Rhein West made the transition to today's refrigerated vehicles. At the turn of the millennium, the company moved to Ostbevern and changed its name to KÜHN Transport- und Lagerungsgesellschaft mbH. At the beginning of 2024, BALM was certified for civil emergency preparedness in road transport. The refrigerated lorries are present throughout Germany. The model meets the specifications of the haulage company and appears in a limited small edition.
