In 1986, the North Dakota-based 319th Bombardment Wing traded its B-52s for the then new and supersonic B-1B. All early “Bones” (B-Ones) delivered in the 1980s wore the Strategic Air Command camouflage scheme of green and grays, the “Wolfhound” of the 46th Bombardment Squadron making no exception.
