“Fat Albert”, as the TC-130G with military registration 151891 is called, is operated as the logistical support airplane for the US Marines’ famous stunt flying squadron, the “Blue Angels”. “Fat Albert” is structurally equipped to allow the attachment of booster rockets. So equipped, it takes off like a fighter jet, which time and again thrills air show audiences. In a two-piece-set, Herpa will release the blue “Fat Albert” of the US Marines’ together with the gray C-130 from the Air Force in the 1/1000 scale.
