Since 2015, the German Army has successively commissioned a total of 350 of the newly developed Puma infantry fighting vehicle. At 8.85 million Euros per item it is currently the world’s most expensive infantry fighting vehicle, and is released by Herpa in “protection level” spec. The 1/87 scale model therefore features modular additional armor plates providing further protection to, for instance, the tower or the sides as well as to the roof to ward off anti-tank, hand-held or medium-caliber weapons. Additional side skirts cover the tank drive to the middle of the rollers.
