The shipping company was founded by the brothers Alois, Johann and Erwin Melmer in 1947 in Wiese in the Austrian Pitztal. Today, 33 silo trailers are available for the 40+ employees. Chief executive Rupert Melmer is seeing to it, that all trucks have a special look. That’s why numerous showtrucks are in the fleet as well as some civil vehicles like this Scania semitrailer with topline cab, which is promoting the Austrian village Imst with a www.imst.at logo. The original of this model was already presented in the Herpa/Fernfahrer calendar 2007.
