Manufactured for Cyprus Airways in 1989, the original of this model has been in service for the Siberian S7 Airlines headquartered in Novosibirsk since 2006. Originally, S7 was only the airline code for Siberia Airlines (Aviakompania Sibir) founded in 1992, until it made this code its brand name in 2007. With five examples, S7 operates one of the last A310-200 fleets worldwide of which VP-BTM, the original of this model, was added to the fleet last in July 2006.
