The DA2 with the registration ZH588 of the British Royal Air Force was the first single seater Typhoon of the United Kingdom and took-off for the first time from Warton air force base in Lancashire county in April 1994. It was officially subordinated to No. 43 Squadron at Leuchars, Scotland and carries the unit’s heraldic animal – a gamecock – on the tail unit. In January 2008, the machine was transferred to the Royal Air Force Museum in Hendon near London to be exhibited there. The model in the 1/200 scale is limited to 1,500 items.
