With the slogan “tomorrow is today”, the forwarder Bartkowiak promotes a sustainable optimization of the fleet’s average fuel consumption which in turn is beneficial for the environment and tomorrow’s generations. The IAA 2008 was the first time, people were looking for possible savings since the diesel price had skyrocketed and ever since, everything has been about fuel saving at Bartkowiak. Supported by the program “Optifuel Infomax” by Renault Trucks and continuous drivers’ trainings, the forwarder was able to lower the fleet’s average fuel consumption by 10 per cent. Due to this project and this year’s IAA Commercial Vehicles, this elaborate special model was produced – a partial edition is now also available at the Herpa trademark shop.
