For a long time Northwest “cheated” with Airbus but currently Boeing is able to look forward to new orders from its longtime customer. 18 examples of the airplane marketed as “Dreamliner” have been ordered for delivery in 2008, and options for 50 additional examples taken. The original of the model, a 787-851, will apparently receive the registration N787US, with which the model will be released.
