With 90 years, the Dutch airline is the world’s oldest airline still operating under its original name. KLM is celebrating that with the special livery of the Boeing 737-8K2 PH-BXA “Zwaan”, which since January 2009 has been flying in the color-scheme first presented in 1960 at the acceptance of the airline’s first jet, namely a Douglas DC-8. Herpa releases this anniversary plane in the 1/500 scale in revised mold with laterally assembled wings.
