Like, for example, Swissair Asia, KLM's subsidiary is a kind of a "department" of the famous Dutch airline. It has been founded to escape the pressure of the People's Republic of China: all airlines flying to what the mainland Chinese call the "renegade province" of Taiwan are not welcome. KLM asia operates a total of five 747-400s to destinations in Asia. PH-BFH, named "City of Hong Kong", is the airline's first model to come out in the 1/400 scale.
