In 1921, Junkers founded the Junkers Luftverkehr AG (Junkers Air Transport Corporation), the world´s largest airline at the time, with destinations all the way to Persia and South America. After two years of service, this F13 was sold to Afghanistan in 1928. She was rediscovered in 1968, transferred back to Germany, restored and has been on display at the Deutsche Museum in Munich since 1984.
