As part of a complete revision of its brand, Icelandair presented a new livery in early 2022. Gone are the blue belly and the yellow engine nacelles. Nevertheless, the new livery adds new colors to the fleet: five variable tail color stripes symbolize different natural phenomenon of Iceland. One of the first 737 Max in the new design, and next in line in the 1/500 scale, is TF-ICY with a, in this case, yellow stripe on its tail, symbolizing sunlight reflected by waterfalls and glaciers.
