Exactly 50 years ago, the Transporter Allianz, or Transall for short was founded from the Nord Aviation from Bourges, the Weser Flugzeugbau from Bremen and the Hamburger Flugzeugbau GmbH (HFB). They launched a two-engine, middle-weight transporter with a maximum payload of 16 tons. The original of this model novelty with the registration 64-GQ is still hard at work at the French Air Force and will most likely remain so until 2015.
