In 1966, the time‘s leading airline of the eastern states of the USA was much praised for introducing its „hockey stick“ design. The DC-8-20, registration N8615, launched six years before, also received this livery, and was retired in 1972. In 1991, the airline vanished from the skies, with 1.5 billion US dollars in debts.
