More than 280 aircraft are operated by the logistics group DHL, some 100 of these fly in Europe, of which 18 757s were registered in the UK. But that came to an end when the British left the EU, and in July of last year, the DHL Express subsidiary DHL Air Austria was founded, based at Vienna’s Schwechat Airport. The eighteen aircraft were gradually re-registered on the Austrian Air Operator Certificate. OE-LNZ was the first aircraft to land in Vienna on November 8, 2021, arriving from Linz, and sported special “Hello Austria” and “Servus Austria” (a typical Austrian greeting) titles on both sides of the fuselage.
