The company was founded in Herzogenaurach in 1945 by Konrad Wormser. The commercial register entry from 1953 declares the forwarding company already as sole silo transport company under the name “Erstes Fränkisches Silo-Transportunternehmen Konrad Wormser”. In 1971, today’s owner Hans Wormser took over the management. The Herpa model is of course tailored for the forwarding company – a silo vehicle with a DAF tractor. Since Wormser also operates a DAF agency, it is obvious that DAF is the company’s own-label.
