Crossair operated a total of 20 Avro Regional Jets starting back in 1993, which were affectionately nicknamed “Jumbolino” due to its four-engined layout. The last of these reliable high-winged aircraft, popular among crews and passengers alike, were retired in 2017 at which time they were flying under the Swiss brand.
