Founded in 1927, the Cessna Aircraft Company has manufactured a total of 190,000 aircraft, more than any other manufacturer worldwide. Those who own such a “VW of the skies” but still want to cut a fine figure in sports flying circles, must come up with something different. That’s what an owner’s group at the airport of Sandy Valley in Nevada/USA did by stripping and polishing their aircraft, manufactured in 1970. The model in the 1/87 scale is accordingly chromed and even the tank covers are explicitly imprinted.
