Since "retro design" has become popular, not only in the aviation business, American Airlines® initially painted a 757-223 with the colors of its old livery from the late 1950s’ turboprop era. Since December 2000, a brand new 737-823, registration N951AA, has also been flying in this nostalgic livery. Like the 757 mentioned above (Herpa item n° 503846), the new 737 now also comes out as a Wings model.
