It was in 1965 that the first Boeing 727 joined American Airlines®‘ fleet – like the original of our model, a Boeing 727-23 with the registration N1969. It received the traditional metal ”Astrojet“ livery with the red stabilizers, already introduced in the 1950s. The airline operated the original for almost thirty years. The model is made entirely of metal.
