By request of Italy’s iconic airline, this Boeing 777 was produced in a modernized color scheme that was supposed to be introduced to the entire fleet. It is unclear if these plans will be further pursued due to the current situation of commercial aviation around the world caused to a great deal by the Covid-19 pandemic. In any case, this 73.9 cm-long model will surely remain rare – we were only able to secure a few pieces for sale through the Herpa Online-Shop.
