Contrary to all prevailing trends, Boeing seems to have decided in favor of comfortable traveling. Even though the plane is 2.6 meters (8.5 feet) longer than the -800, it does not provide a single additional seat. This means that it is designed for premium airlines such as Alaska Airlines, and not of interest to charter and low-cost carriers. The original of our new 1/200 scale type, registration N306AS, was launched in July 2001.
