In 1957, the big, four-engine turboprop type Ilyushin IL-18 took off for the first time and went into scheduled service at Aeroflot two years later. Over 600 civilian examples were built until 1968, several are still in operation in the GUS states even today. The original of this model is an already performance-enhanced IL-18D, and will be released in its first Aeroflot livery, registered CCCP-74260.
