As the organisation responsible for the ground-based rescue service, the Hannover Region is responsible for providing rescue services to the population of the Hannover Region. The Hannover Region has commissioned the three aid organisations Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB), Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK) and Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe (JUH) to provide the rescue service and to operate the rescue stations and rescue vehicles. The Herpa model is printed with the JUH door labelling and appears in a silver/bright red print in a one-off edition.
