The Berlin fire brigade is the oldest professional fire brigade in Germany. It was founded in 1851. Around 5300 employees are spread across 35 stations. This makes it not only the oldest, but also the largest professional fire brigade in the country. A further 58 volunteer fire brigades with around 1500 active volunteer members support the full-time firefighters here. After three ‘recently’ released models (097338, 097444 and 097819), a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with single cab and box body is now being converted. The tail lift is shown in the best possible way in the print. The model is a limited edition.
