Formed in 2002, Air Canada Alliance was the brand name under which independent charter airline Air Georgian operated short-haul commuter flights on behalf of Air Canada. At its peak, sixteen Beechcraft 1900D were in operation on behalf of Air Canada in its unique "frosted leaf" livery used from around 2004 through to 2016. In 2011, Air Canada pulled together Air Canada Jazz and Air Canada Alliance under one brand, Air Canada Express.
