Available again! After many years, the visitor magnet in the Technik-Museum in Sinsheim, Germany is now re-released as a die-cast metal model in the 1/200 scale in the very version in which, along with the Concorde, it attracts visitors to Sinsheim year after year. CCCP-77112 made its maiden flight in 1979, but besides over 80 test and trail flights, never entered regular scheduled service. It remained in storage for almost 20 years until the Technik-Museum Sinsheim purchased the TU-144D and ferried it by barge from Moscow to Sinsheim over a distance of more than 4,000 kilometers, where it has been on display ever since. In addition to minor corrections to the decoration of the model, this new edition received a new packaging design.
