Originally, the company founded in 1973 had been a bus operator for regular and school services. A few years later, when the former company founder Willi Höhner began to transport general cargo for the Deutsche Bundesbahn with 7.5 ton trucks, the foundation for a forwarding company was laid. The Volvo FH16 is the latest Volvo model in the forwarder’s fleet in Westerwald. Reason enough for Herpa, to also release this vehicle in the H0 scale.
