In 1946, the family-owned company GRAD was established in Linz/Upper Austria. In the beginnings, business activities included operating curtain-canvas and tank trucks in Austria and neighboring countries. After TRANSDANUBIA was established in Vienna in 1965, it carried out forwarding operations focusing on Greece, Turkey, Russia, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Today, next to heavy load and special transports, they are also specializing in refrigerated transports. The satellite-monitored refrigerated fleet with over 200 vehicles provides a comprehensive distribution of deep-frozen goods all over Europe. Important part is inter alia this refrigerated semitrailer of which a partial edition is now also available from the Herpa trademark shop.
