The Bender company from Freudenberg was founded in 1950 as logging business by Johannes Bender. In the following years, a forwarding company with building material wholesale was established, which was transferred to the two sons Gerhard and Reiner Bender in 1980. An important milestone was the acquiring of the highway transport license. With the fleet’s consistent setup and expansion, the transportation volume was steadily increased. For that, a new and modern forwarding plant with garage, washing plant and warehouse with cranes up to 30 tons went into service in 1987. Subsidiaries in Eisenhüttenstadt, Neukieritzsch and in the Czech Ostrava were added. Today, the forwarding company is managed in third generation by Andreas and Peter Bender.
