Felix Troll founded Troll Transporte in 1947, when Europe’s economy was devastated. His first vehicle was a wreck from an accident on which he worked on for two years. In the beginning, Troll transported his goods in barrels – today, it is state-of-the-art tank trailers which are heatable, insulated and equipped with pumps. Troll himself managed his business until 1988 when he sold his company to P & O due to old age. In September 2003, the Unitrans group took over all company shares and renamed the company again to the traditional „Felix Troll Transport GmbH & Co. KG“.
