USAF Fairchild A-10A Thunderbolt II - 118th Fighter Squadron, Connecticut ANG "Black Lightning"

The "Flying Yankees" trace their origin back to the 118th Aero Squadron formed in 1917 during World War I. Initially painted to commemorate their 80th anniversary as a National Guard unit in 2003, the aircraft continued to fly with the black lightning design long after.
