Originally registered in 1974 as CCCP-77104, this TU-144S received the new – and more fitting – serial CCCP-77144 for the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget one year later. This second pre-production aircraft saw heavy use for in-flight aerodynamic and stress tests until being broken up in 1987. The nose on this 1/200 scale diecast metal model can be adjusted into the upright or lowered position. In addition, this TU-144 comes with two sets of canards, allowing display of the model with retracted or extended winglets.
