Originally registered in 1974 as CCCP-77104, This TU-144S received the new – and more fitting – serial CCCP-77144 for the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget one year later. This second pre-production aircraft, saw heavy use for in-flight aerodynamic and stress tests until being broken up in 1987.
