Founded in 1948 as a subsidiary of Air France, the initial task of Tunisair was to keep up the connections with France, the country’s colonial power at the time. Today, it is an almost all-medium haul airline, and most of its business consists of transporting tourists to the relatively cheap North African holidaymaker country. Our model of the Boeing 767-600 carries the registration TS-ION, and is the airline’s first model in the Herpa Wings collection.
