Only 500 pieces of this train set were made available from DaimlerChrysler for Herpa, and the Black Edition tractor will only be available as part of this set due to licensing issues. The set contains a high quality and heavy all-metal version of the Model 185 multipurpose locomotive of the Deutsche Bahn AG with a digital decoder and a special motor. 4 axles powered by cardan shafts. Illuminated using LEDs, built for conventional operation, and digitally switchable. Black/silver fi nishing in the intricate Black Edition design. Two low-fl oor wagons, each loaded with two elegant, handmade tractors in the Mercedes-Benz Black Edition color scheme by Herpa. An AC version will not be available due to the highly limited production run.
