In 1977, Thai received its first two DC-10-30 wide-body jets. With them, they also launched the livery known as “Royal Orchid”, which was only renewed last year after 30 years. The original of this 1,000 item limited model novelty still carries the airline’s classic colors. It was registered in December 1987 as HS-TMB and with the name “Thepalai”.
